International cooperation "Project VIGONI"

In the framework of the coorperation project VIGONI 2012/13 between the Institute of Structural Mechanics and Facoltà di Ingegneria, Università del Molise, Italy Prof. Carlo Callari will visit the Institute of Structural Mechanics in November for a research stay.
During this period work will be focused on "Development of the scientific and technological basis for a new three dimensional finite element model with improved criteria for localized shear band propagation in saturated and partially saturated soft soil based on the so-called Strong Discontinuity Approach (SDA)"
