Bus shuttle

We have organized a shuttle from the hotels in Bochum city to Ruhr University Bochum for all participants. The departure times are given in the program.
There are two bus stops:

By Subway to Ruhr University Bochum

Please take Subway U35 (e.g. from Bochum main station) in the direction “Hustadt” and exit at station “Ruhr-Universität”.

By Car to Ruhr University Bochum

Ruhr University Bochum can be reached by several motorways.

By Plane

Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) is the major International Airport in the Ruhr Metropolis. It is located approximately 40 min away from Ruhr University Bochum. The airport is connected to the regional VRR train, tram and bus system. Airport Shuttles to Bochum are also available.
Two alternative airports are Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN), which is located 90 min away, and Dortmund Airport (DTM), which is located 60 min away from Ruhr University Bochum.

By Train

Bochum is connected to the German and European high speed train system. Travel information can be found at Deutsche Bahn (The name of the main station is Bochum Hbf).
